Even though the Scottish Independence Referendum was won by those who wished to stay in the UK, their campaign's legacy saw massive damage inflicted on what was the largest Unionist party in Scotland and a strengthening of the resolve of those who want independence. The case for an independent Scotland remains as alive today as it was in the summer of 2014.
