In the early part of 2013, after over a decade working as a graphic designer and illustrator, I decided to put my skills to use in the campaign for Scotland's independence. Between then and September 2014, I created around 1,300 graphics – mostly for social media. Following the referendum, I have remained active in politics and continue to create political art.
My work draws on my love of art and design history. Making references to many of the leading art and design movements of the 20th century, I create visually appealing images in order to catch the attention of viewers and so deliver political messages.
